Our village..

OUR VILLAGE..

We live in a small village named Loutro.In the past it used to be in a different location 4km away from the present location.
The "Old village" it's really beautiful.The nature there it's unique.Tall beautiful trees,different coloury flowers.Also it has a river which passes through the village.There are stil some buildings that used to be houses and shops.Also the church is in a really good state,so we are able to use it nowdays.The village had only one teacher for all grages.
The "New village" it's in the present location for about fifty years now.It's very pretty.It also has pretty nature.Of course it's more "modern" than the old one.IT has cafetirias,restaurants and some clothes shops.There are many teachers and every type of shcool,except High Shcool.

• The kid's daily lifeis simple.Every morning they go to school.The high shcool students have to travel by bus to school in Amfilohia.At  noon they take the bus again to come home for lungh.After the family finish eating,most time the children do their homework.Some kids help their parents because most people here are farmers.In the afternoon they go for a walk,hang out with their friends or do any other activites that they might have.

• The younger children usually play at the playground or the square. 

 

• The village has it's own football team named Amvrakikos.It takes part in many games.They practice a lot and they are really good.The village has two football fields.

• 3km far from the village there is Arapis beach.It's a pretty beach.In the summer it's full of people.THere are some cantines with cold drinks for those warm sunny days.Also there is a beach volley field.
